Welcome to the Governors' Section
The Governors are responsible for the overall running of the school; they have significant control, within legal and County limitations, over the annual budget, the delivery of the national curriculum, the fabric of the premises, the security of the premises, the employment of staff, the structure and organisation of the school, and, of course, the welfare of the children. They delegate the day to day running of the school to the headteacher and her staff.
The governing body meets six times a year as a full group and a further six times each for the three smaller committees.
