School Council

Our School Councillors have regular opportunities to air their classmates' views in our Achievers' Assemblies, where they are welcome to raise any concerns or ideas they may have with our Head Teacher, Mr Lane.

Their contributions have already led to a change being made to mix up the lunchtime slots for different classes so that the same children do not always miss the beginning or end of their lunchtime, since the children thought this was unfair.

Another great contribution our School Council have made is helping to create a School Lunches questionnaire, which they used to gather their class's views about our school lunches, asking the children to comment on quality, quantity and variety, as well as sharing their opinions on their most and least favourite dishes. This vital data will hopefully prove helpful in ensuring that future provision for our school lunches is the best it possibly can be and reflects the needs and wishes of the children.
