Wellbeing Action Group

Hello and a very warm welcome to you from the Weelbeing Action group.

We are a group of friendly people who feel passionately about the wellbeing of our children, parents and staff.  We are different to the Friends of Bishop Henderson as we are not a fundraising organisation.  We are more strategic.  We plan, organise and contact visitors and activities for our annual wellbeing week as well as throughout the year.   We monitor the wellbeing of staff, parents and children in accordance to the Somerset Wellbeing Audit.  If you are interested and feel you can offer something to the group please feel free to contact us.  You can do this via email to the school office or any of us exisiting members would be more than happy to talk to you.   We are:

Kirstin Tesoriere - Wellbeing Lead

Sarah Keelty - Wellbeing Governor

Kelly Hillier- ELSA

Parents - Deborah Mitchell

               - Simone Hamilton

Absence and lateness to school

Absence of children from school is a national concern and one for us at Bishop Henderson.  If you are finding it tricky to encourage your child to come to school or difficult to litterally get them through the door please come and talk to the class teacher, Mr Lane or you can contact me Kirstin Tesoriere via the office email.  There is also advice given to parents presented by Place 2 Be.  If this applies to you it is worth taking a read on the link below...
