As part of Arts Week, we had a fantastic visit to Dundas Aqueduct! Our whole-school theme is water so we went to see the river, canal and aquaduct. We were very lucky to have sunshine and blue skies. First, we walked by the canal and looked at the bright and colourful boats.
The path took us along by the railway towards the aquaduct. The views were beautiful.
There were boats coming along the canal.
There was a bridge across the canal which opens to let the boats through. Mrs Scott opened it.
Before we had our lunch, we walked across the aquaduct.
